North Dakota Region III Daycare Expansion Program

North Central Planning Council (NCPC) in collaboration with the economic development offices in N.D. Region III, including Cavalier County JDA, Benson County JDA, Forward Devils Lake, Towner County EDC, New Rockford Betterment Corporation and Rolla JDA, are working on an application to the North Dakota Department of Commerce Regional Workforce Impact Program (RWIP). NCPC is seeking proposals for current and start-up daycare center/group initiatives to be part of the Region III RWIP application. The purpose of the funding will be to assist licensed daycare centers or groups to start a business or expand/ stabilize the number of daycare slots available in the Region. It is anticipated that $400,000 in funding will be available to center and groups in the counties of Benson, Eddy, Cavalier, Ramsey, Rolla, and Towner and that multiple proposals will be accepted and submitted as part of the application to the RWIP program. Proposals are due to NCPC no later than Friday, June 23, at 12 p.m.
