New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Tammy Kanzelman. Tammy is the daughter of the late Darwyn and Faye Kanzelman.

Tuesday, Shirley Packard received a phone call from Perry Price as a thank you for sending him the Transcript containing the obituary of his sister, Gloria. They had a nice visit and Perry lives in Montana.

Janelle Koepplin celebrated her 70th birthday Friday evening with friends and family at the New Rockford Golf Club.

Saturday found Ken and Marvis Holte enjoying music, visiting and lunch as part of the Young at Heart Club at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrington. Friday, visitors and guests at the Holte home were Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy.

Ruby Simms was a brief visitor at the Shirley Packard home, Monday. Afternoon found Shirley keeping a chiropractic appointment.

Sunday, afternoon visitors at the Candy Jensen home were Rick and Cora Koepplin and granddaughter, Katie.

Janet Laube enjoyed Sunday phone calls with niece, Shelly Nelson, of Oklahoma and Lois Ockert of Fargo.

Taylor and Amanda Koepplin and Evelyn are proud to announce the baptism of infant daughter and sister, Tessa Charlotte Koepplin, during worship service on Sunday at First Lutheran Church in New Rockford, with a buffet of food following in the church parlor. Grandparents attending were Tim and Bobbi Jo Indergaard, Todd and Karen Koepplin and families, and Jimmy Indergaard; great-grandparents, Janelle Koepplin and Frederick and Dianne Allmaras and families; and proud great-aunt Charlotte Koepplin, Tessa’s namesake. Sponsors for Tessa were Amanda’s sister, Brittney, and husband, Justin Backer.
