Thursday, Jimmy Indergaard enjoyed a visit over supper at his uncle, Mervin Indergaard and cousin, Vicki Magill’s home.
Wednesday, Charlotte Koepplin received a phone call from former Brantford grade school mate, Ronald Berglund of Fresno, Calif. He plans to be in the area for the annual Steam Threshers Reunion in September. He is the son of the late Harold and Bernice Berglund, long-time farmers in Pleasant Prairie Township and later residents of New Rockford, where his father owned and ran the Standard gas station where Haley’s Repair is now.
Circle Trail Riders met Monday evening at the Charlotte Koepplin home. The dates of Sept. 24-25 have been set for the annual Fall Trail Ride with hosts Dale and Diane Rosenberg.
Jimmy Indergaard was a Saturday and Sunday supper guest at the Andy and Ruth Braaten home. His sister, Sharon Laxdal, called him on Sunday.
Margie Anderson’s granddaughter, Joanna Larson, picked her up Sunday and they enjoyed a country drive seeing the crops and cattle. They joined others for pizza later at the Gary and Kathy Anderson home.
Glen and Judy Cudworth visited Margie Anderson one afternoon.
Charlotte Koepplin was among those who called niece, Chevelle Beckley, and wished her a happy ninth birthday on Sunday.
