Street repairs underway

Last week, work on the New Rockford street project began in earnest, as construction crews began milling roads on the west end of town.

Workers have begun milling 5th Avenue North, 4th Avenue North and 3rd Avenue North, as well as 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th streets.

On New Rockford’s “Living Local” app, the city provided a small update regarding the road construction: “This does mean there will be road closures and inconvenient delays. You may be asked to move your car off the street.

“Please remain patient with us and it will all be worth it soon!”

The City of New Rockford will be providing updates, including which roads are closed, on their app, which can be found by searching “New Rockford ND” in the App Store.

The street project is scheduled to end in November.
