The Public Hearing for Street Improvement District 2021-1 and Street Improvement District 2022-2 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Brown Memorial Auditorium, 621 Central Avenue.
The Special Assessment Committee will hear questions and concerns at this time. The Committee is requiring objections to be submitted in writing that includes name and land parcel.
The SAC committee will not make any decisions at the hearing, but will further address the objections at the following committee meeting, scheduled for Thursday, September 1 at 8:30 a.m., New Rockford City Hall.
The special assessment amounts published in the Aug. 15 and 22 paper are subject to 3 percent interest for 15 years.
