Thursday, Shelly Nelson and Sassy left for their home in Oklahoma after several days as guests of aunt Janet Laube and Yip -
Yip. They enjoyed their time together doing fall yard work and fall house cleaning and found time to visit loved ones at Prairie Home Cemetary along with a shopping spree in Jamestown. Shelly is the daughter of the late Harley and Betty Nelson of New Rockford. In saying goodbye, she said she’ll see Auntie Janet next summer.
Helpers and doers this past week at the Shirley Packard home have been Mary Gehrtz, Calvin Packard and Kevin Johnson.
Janelle Koepplin enjoyed a visit over brunch Sunday with son Aaron and Danielle Koepplin and grandson Hendrix at the Rockford Cafe and later a visit at home.
Thursday, Ken Holte and Alan Lang were passengers on the South Central Transit from Carrington to Jamestown where Ken underwent cataract surgery at the hospital there. He is doing fine.
Janet Laube enjoyed a phone chat with sister in-law, Lois Ockert, Sunday afternoon. Lois called from her home in Fargo.
