Once again, New Rockford will be home to all kinds of spooky fun this Halloween night!
While enjoying this Halloween evening, be sure to take your trick-or-treaters downtown, where the New Rockford Lions Club is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat event.
On Halloween night, businesses, organizations and families are invited to decorate their trunks and give out treats at the gazebo frontage road from 4:30 - 6 p.m. The annual event allows kids of all ages to safely go trick-or-treating.
Anyone interested in handing out candy is encouraged to contact Jodi Hirchert at (701) 302-0070 or Kristi Swenson at (701) 302-0155.
Also downtown on Halloween night, a number of businesses will have plenty of goodies for trick-or-treaters to enjoy.
But that’s not all that’s on tap this Halloween night. The Eddy-New Rockford Library will again be offering green screen photos from 5-7 p.m. and everyone is welcome - from ghosts and ghouls to superheroes and fairy princesses.
Using an app called Blue Screen It, anyone and everyone can pose in front of an exciting and spook-tacular backdrop, just like actors and models do in Hollywood!
Choose from one of several different backgrounds, strike a pose at the green screen, and then watch as your photo transforms into a great Halloween treat delivered right to your email.
There’s all kinds of fun for the whole family this Halloween, but be careful of the candy-craving monsters that are sure to be lurking all through the town.
Happy Halloween!
