New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Vivian Pfeiffer.
Frederick and Dianne Allmaras were hosts to Christmas Eve supper and gift opening. Todd and Karen Koepplin and family and Janelle Koepplin were among other family to enjoy the evening.
Monday and Wednesday, Shirley Packard was happy to have the snow removed from her driveway and walkways by Todd Harrison and Calvin Packard.
Taylor and Amanda Koepplin, Evie and Tessa were among Christmas dinner guests at the Tim and Bobbi Jo Indergaard farm.
Thursday found Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, doing errands around town.
Janet Laube and YipYip received Christmas calls from Lois Ockert and Travis Laube.
Todd and Karen Koepplin were hosts to Christmas day dinner at the farm. Family enjoyed the day and a fun white elephant gift game. Those braving the storm and snow and ice covered roads were Aaron and Danielle Koepplin, Carter, Chevelle, Hendrix, Charlotte and Janelle Koepplin. Later, Taylor and Amanda Koepplin and girls joined all for supper. Most played a few hands of rummy while watching the weather. All made it home safe and sound after a fun day with family.
Jerrod and Angie Holte celebrated early Christmas with mom, Candy Jensen, Friday afternoon. The Holtes also celebrated Christmas over the weekend with Ken and Marvis Holte and Angie’s mom, Joni, in Carrington.
Friday, Heidi Schnieder picked mom, Eloise Lucht, up and they went to the Schnieder home in Devils Lake. Saturday, Christmas Eve, all enjoyed a yummy supper, opening gifts and taking a tour around Devils Lake to see the holiday lights. Christmas Day, BBQ ribs and other goodies were enjoyed. Jay and Heidi drove Eloise home on Monday and drove on to Napoleon to Jay’s family.
Ken and Marvis Holte got Christmas calls from Ardis and Bob Yates in Arkansas, where it got cold enough to freeze up their plumbing, Cory Birkholz of Grand Forks, Fayette Helseth of Devils Lake, Loren Holte of Bismarck and Amanda Bickett of Carrington.
Grandson, Jordan Lucht, called grandmother Eloise Lucht on Christmas day with greetings of the season. He is from Maple Grove, Minn.
