Vivian Pfeiffer, 91, of New Rockford, N.D. passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Sanford Health, Fargo, N.D.

Vivian Fay Davis was born on April 20, 1931 to Arthur and Floreana (Patzer) Davis in Fessenden, N.D. She was baptized at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Fessenden, N.D. and was confirmed on April 14, 1946 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Chicago, Ill. Vivian received her GED. She married James Albert Pfeiffer on August 14, 1948 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Fessenden, N.D. From this union they were blessed with seven children. Vivian was a home maker and farm wife, who enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and most importantly any family gathering. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church (CLC) Jamestown, N.D., Superior Homemakers for 75 years, and Community Ambulance Service of New Rockford for 16 years.

Vivian is survived by her four daughters, Lois (Wil) Schwarz of West Fargo, N.D.; Ellen Pfeiffer of Jamestown; Marion (Randy) Wagner of Neche, N.D. and Paula (John) Winskye of Snowflake, Ariz.; one son, Albert (Denise) Pfeiffer of New Rockford; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Pfeiffer; two sons, John and William (Billy); grandson, Troy Schwarz; one brother; two sisters; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
