Janet Laube called niece, Carla Roberts, in Warroad, Minn. on Sunday and wished her a happy birthday and new year.
Candy Jensen enjoyed a new year call from son, Derik, and Val Holte from their home in Minneapolis on Sunday.
Thursday afternoon visitors at the Janelle Koepplin home were son, Aaron Koepplin, with Chevelle and Hendrix.
Ken and Marvis Holte ejoyed a belated Christmas dinner and gift opening at daughter, Amanda, and Cody Bickett’s on Tuesday.
New Year’s Day, Janet Laube received good wishes over the phone from niece, Robin Westall, of Fargo; Shelly Nelson, of Oklahoma; and sister-in-law, Lois Ockert, of Fargo.
Holly Zieman recently picked up Marvis Holte and Amanda Bickett and treated them to coffee and tea at the Garden Gate in Carrington.
New Year’s Day, son Larry Lucht, from Virginia, called mom, Eloise Lucht, with good wishes of the day. Christmas found it four degrees below zero there. New Year’s Day it was raining, and they were grilling and wearing shorts.
Shirley Packard received a phone call Sunday filled with New Year’s wishes from Noelle Evans from Minnesota. Noelle is the daughter of the late Frank and Ann Allmaras.
Calvin Packard and Todd Harrison took care of yard snow and other errands for Shirley Packard during the week.
Todd Harrison drove his son Alex to Bismarck Friday. He boarded a plane for Arizona, where he lives with his mother and goes to college. Alex enjoyed the Christmas holiday in New Rockford.
