Charlotte Koepplin was happy to receive an update letter from country neighbor, Sharon Ludwig. January 23 marked 100 days since her accident and leg injury. She remains in Missouri Slope rehab center in Bismarck. On January 9, she had a skin graft surgery to cover the large wound on the calf of her left leg. The two 3-by-8 inch patches of skin were taken from her left thigh. The dressing on the donor sites and graft sites are changed daily. She says the donor sites are most painful but getting better every day.

On February 4, she will transition to Missouri Slope Assisted Living. Her address is Valley View, 2500 Valley View Ave – Room 114, Bismarck, N.D. 58501.

Pleasant Prairie folks are among those that continue to keep Sharon in their thoughts and prayers.
