Kalleigh Engels and Isla Jacobson
Four participants from New Rockford participated in the Regional Knights of Columbus Free Throw contest held in Jamestown, N.D. on Feb. 26, 2023. All participants were from District 13 age group winners, and in each age group they shot a total of 25 free throws. There were two local winners, Kalleigh Engels, age nine and Isla Jacobson, age 11.
Other participants were 11-year-old Jaxon Simon and 14-year-old Easton Simon.
Congratulations to Kalleigh and Isla and good luck at the state contest, which will be held at St. Mary's High School in Bismarck on March 25 at 12 p.m.
