Celebrate Memorial Day at All Veterans Park

Please join us this Memorial Day as the American Legion hosts a ceremony to honor and remember those who have served. The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. at All Veterans Park in New Rockford, near the flag pole. Ceremony will include music, readings, the laying of the wreath, and a gun salute. Then we continue to the New Rockford cemetery for the conclusion of the ceremony.

The American Legion continues their tradition of marking each veteran grave with an American flag. It is a beautiful sight. This day, and every day, we remember that freedom is NOT free.
