Saturday visitors at the Shirley Packard home were her sister Vida and Jerome Klocke. They drove over from their home in Underwood to see family and attend Vida’s 50th high school reunion. They also visited nephew Todd Harrison and checked out some new chicks. In honor of Memorial Day, they visited family graves at Prairie Home Cemetery. Other visitors at the Packard home were Calvin Packard and Tim and Tom Hartl.

Recent brief visitor at the Eloise Lucht home was son-in-law Jay Schneider of Devils Lake. Eloise got the good news that son Scott and Kim got their new chickens in their new coop and Scott is recuperating nicely from some recent surgery.

Saturday, MarJean Pfau picked up Janet Laube and they drove out to Prairie Home Cemetery and paid respect to loved ones. Thursday and Friday visitor at Janet’s was niece Robin Westall of Fargo. Sunday, niece Lisa and Keith Paulson of Gully, Minn. visited Janet at the Lutheran Home. Memorial Day, Janet was pleasantly surprised when grandson Travis Laube and friend Missy of Fargo came for a Memorial Day visit. They enjoyed a drive to Prairie Home Cemetery, where they groomed around loved ones’ graves and placed flowers in their memory.

Monday, Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, drove to Carrington and enjoyed dinner at the Prairie Inn.

Wednesday, Candy Jensen kept a medical appointment in Harvey.

Rick Koepplin and granddaughter Katie stopped briefly at the Candy Jensen home Sunday, before they were among the many who attended the New Rockford-Sheyenne high school graduation, especially wishing Dawson Clifton congratulations. Rick also did a couple of errands for Candy.
