It is with great sadness that the family of LaRayne Lois (Jaster) Reimer announces the passing of their dear mother on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the age of 93 at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington, N.D.

Her visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., all at the Federated Church UCC/UMC, Carrington. LaRayne's burial will be at the Carrington Cemetery, Carrington, N.D. Pastor Rick Loewen will officiate the service with special music by organist, Clara Edwardson: "How Great Thou Art #4," "Jesus Loves Me #579," and "On Eagle's Wings." Recorded music, "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be" by the Gaither Vocal Band will be played. Honorary urn bearers will be LaRayne's grandsons Matthew Reimer, Jared Reimer, Chad Reimer and Nathan Reimer. Eulogy will be given by grandaughter Jennifer Cook.

LaRayne was born on October 18, 1929 at her parents' home near Sheldon, N.D.; to Levi and Francis (Ludtke) Jaster. She was the second of three children. She attended country school and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1947. She worked for the local dentist in Enderlin before marrying the love of her life, Robert D. Reimer, on June 12, 1949. They were blessed with 62 years of marriage before Robert passed in 2011. They lived in Fargo, N.D. the first years of marriage and then moved to Carrington where they raised their four boys. After Bob's retirement they spent most all of their winters in Arizona enjoying life. In 2020, LaRayne moved into Golden Acres Nursing Home.

LaRayne was a member of the Carrington Federated Church and a member of the Church guild. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Her favorite activities were bowling, golfing, playing cards (bridge) with her friends, gardening and hosting friends and family for dinner.

LaRayne is survived by her children, Douglas Reimer, Bismarck, N.D., Paul (Christy) Reimer, Carrington, N.D. and Jeff Reimer, Bismarck, N.D. and daughter-in-law Debra Reimer, Bismarck, N.D.; grandchildren, Sarah (Tomas) Chavez, Frederick, Colo., Nathan (Emily) Reimer, Mandan, N.D., Matthew (Tara) Reimer, West Fargo, N.D., Angela (Brent) Lucas, Bismarck, N.D., Jennifer (Andrew) Cook, West Fargo, N.D., Amy (Tanner) Henderson, Mandan, N.D., Jared (Nichole) Reimer, Mandan, N.D. and Chad (Shelbie) Reimer, Bismarck, N.D.; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother Eugene Jaster, Greensboro, Penn.

She was preceded in death by her parents Levi and Francis, husband Robert, son Randy, and sister Priscilla.
