Sheyenne GRIT met on Sunday, Aug. 20, at First Lutheran Parish Hall. The evening started with a BBQ and chips supper. Discussion was then held on the house flip project – what has been completed and what is left to be done. A target of October has been set for the house to be put up for sale. Those attending could then tour the house, community garden and orchard. More discussion was held following the tours.
Wednesday afternoon, Patti Clifton and Jan Loe were in Devils Lake to do some shopping.
Wednesday, Aug. 23, Jan Loe joined Jim and Marjean Woodrow and Brian and Pam Hill, along with Jim and Marjean's friends, Larry and Becky Hults from Ariz., for supper at Old 281 Tavern in Minnewaukan.
Friday evening, Jan Loe and Steph met Melissa Stenberg for supper at Applebee's in Devils Lake. Melissa is Jan's niece from Minneapolis.
Bonnie Deegan and Jan Loe met Brian and Pam Hill for the American Legion Breakfast on Sunday morning.
