Wednesday's stop-in visitors at the Eloise Lucht home were Roland and Mary Sharbono and Randy and Cindy Sharbono, all of Minneapolis. They had been in the area for the funeral of Ann Theis in Carrington and enjoyed a good visit and catch-up on family.
Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, were around town one day taking care of errands and shopping for necessary items.
Candy Jensen enjoyed a phone call from Brenda Thurin Trauman one evening. Brenda has moved from Devils Lake to Fargo to be of help to her mother, Florence Brownlee. Both were residents of New Rockford at one time.
Cathy Bryce of the North Dakota Vocational Rehabilitation Service of Devils Lake was a helping visitor at the Shirley Packard home Friday. She introduced some new methods and equipment for the sight impaired to Shirley, namely a clock to be able to tell the correct time.
Shirley Packard enjoyed a phone chat with her daughter Cindy Toben one evening. Cindy is happy to be back teaching Special Education in a Minnesota school.
