Michael Allmaras
Wonder Lake Ill.
On the afternoon of Sunday, July 30th, Michael (Omie) Jerome Allmaras passed away while in hospice in Wonder Lake, Ill. He was 72 years old.
Michael was born to Jerome and Phyllis Allmaras on September 25th, 1950. He attended St. James Academy and graduated in 1968. After graduating Mike attended school in Bottineau for a year and then enlisted in the army and was deployed to Vietnam. After discharge from his military service, he would live in several areas of the country. While living in Panama City Beach, Fla., Michael met his wife Vicki Miller and they were married on June 13, 1987. They would eventually settle in Wonder Lake, Ill. where they would remain until the end of their lives.
Michael was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan, enjoyed professional wrestling, fishing, hunting, baseball and basketball.
Michael was proceeded in death by his wife, Vicki Miller Allmaras, who passed away just hours before Michael, father Jerome, mother Phyllis and sister Catherine. He is survived by his three daughters, Terah Allmaras, Melissa Lovelace Lipp and Tracy Lichwa, his grandchildren, his siblings Linda, Janice, Rebecca (Dom Bianco), Paul, Susan, Laura, Nancy (Bruce Hitz), Louis, Judy (Gerald Neis), Melissa and Jennifer, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Michael and Vicki was held on September 17th, 2023 from 12:00 to 4:00 at The Stonegate Banquet and Conference Center, 2401 W Higgins Rd., Hoffman Estates, Ill.
