Guests and helpers this week at the Shirley Packard home were daughter Cheryl and Dave Gabbert from Blaine, Minn. Monday they enjoyed a drive to Carrington where they had supper at the Prairie Inn. Tuesday they checked out the goodies at the Loco Ketchup Café in New Rockford.

The Gabberts also visited at the Todd Harrison home while here. They left Wednesday for their home after spending quality time with mom.

Friday, daughter Amanda Bickett was a helper at the Ken and Marvis Holte home. The gals worked together and baked a special bean spice cake. Cody Bickett stopped in and joined all for dinner and got to sample the cake. The recipe is a winner.

Thursday Calvin Packard drove mom Shirley to Carrington where she had a medical appointment.

On Sunday Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed phone calls from son James Birkholz of Minot and Marvis’ sister Penny Sorrells from Minneapolis. All are doing fine.

Eloise Lucht heard from son Larry and Irene. They are safely back at their home in Virginia after a much-enjoyed vacation trip which found them in Italy with Alan and Julie Lucht.

Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed the Trinity Lutheran Church annual fall turkey supper Sunday as it was delivered to their home.

Sunday Calvin Packard brought mom's favorite omelet breakfast from the Rockford Café to Shirley Packard.
