Connie Komrosky

With sad hearts, the family of Connie Komrosky announces her passing on August 17, 2023, at the age of 62 in Sanford Hospital, Fargo, N.D. surrounded by family.

Connie was born June 30, 1961, to Lowell and Janice Komrosky in Devils Lake, N.D. She grew up and attended school in Tower City, N.D., graduating from Maple Valley in 1980.

Connie lived in Valley City for a few years and then lived in New Rockford, N.D. for the past 22 years with her extended family Tom and Sheri Anderson.

Connie was always happy and greeted everyone with a smile and hello! Everyone who knew Connie, knew of her love for family, friends, animals, sports and baking. She loved to bake cookies for anyone she could, and she always remembered their favorites.

She attended, watched and listened to every sporting event she could, always remembering players, plays and scores. She especially loved following her favorite team, the New Rockford Rockets! She was also known for her ability to remember and send cards to all family and friends for their birthdays, anniversaries, holidays or congratulations on their games or achievements.

Connie is survived by her mother, Janice (JD)  Dallmann, Moorhead, Minn.; stepmother, Barbara Komrosky,  Valley City, N.D.; sister, Cindy Herk, Willow River, Minn.; brothers, Jerry (Sherri) Komrosky, Moorhead, Minn. and Lonnie (Laurie) Komrosky, Cando N.D.; her nieces and nephews, Dustin (Nicole) Herk, Maya and Laurel, Bayport, Minn., Cody Herk, Carrington, N.D., Trista Herk, Eljah and Bella, Wendell, Minn., Kristin (Cody) Mathiason, Kane and Blake, Fargo, N.D.,  Kraig (Carey) Komrosky, Kinley, Beckam, and Everett, Hawley Minn., Tanner (Ashley) Komrosky, Devils Lake, N.D., Jayden Komrosky, Cando, N.D.; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves her extended family, Tom and Sheri Anderson, New Rockford, N.D.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Komrosky and grandparents, Harry and Florence Komrosky and Alfred and Helen Nygaard.

There was visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Valley City, N.D. A prayer service with a time for sharing memories began at 7:00. Her memorial service was Saturday, October 14 at 2 p.m.
