New Rockford, Sheyenne and area folks extend sympathy to the families of Bob Backman and Joseph Eversvik.

Thursday Roger Topp enjoyed a visit from his brother Raymond, in from Grace City where the bean harvest is happening.

Friday Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, were in Carrington on business and enjoyed dinner at Prairie Inn.

Eloise Lucht visited with her sister Ann Wheeler of Kenai, Alaska over the phone recently. It had snowed there leaving everything sparkling, then it rained and the winter wonderland was gone.

Candy Jensen made connections with sister-in-law Cecelia Bauer Koepplin on Sunday and wished her a happy 80th birthday. Cecelia was married to Candy's late brother Jerry and is from Minneapolis.

Friday found Mary Gehrtz a helper at the Shirley Packard home. Mary is planning a trip to Arizona soon where she will visit Teresa Harrison.

Eloise Lucht gave a young gal some good advice recently after she tried to scam Eloise by getting her to believe she was her oldest granddaughter. Eloise's advice was to give up scamming and GET A JOB!!
