New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Darlene Daugherty.

Thursday, Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, were around town on errands and business.

Ken and Marvis Holte were in New Rockford Thursday morning and enjoyed visiting at the Rockford Café, and were treated to coffee compliments of Jeanette Munson. Saturday they went on a little outing and enjoyed coffee at the Chieftain.

Wednesday, Eloise Lucht enjoyed being pampered at the monthly foot clinic in New Rockford, and reports that son Alan of Germany had planned to be at mom's for Halloween. Something unforeseen came up and he won't be here until the third of November.

Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed a Friday visit from Marvis' brother Cory Birkholz. Cory was returning from meetings in Bismarck to his home in Grand Forks, where he lives and is a social worker.

Saturday, Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed breakfast with their daughter Amanda and Cody Bickett at the Prairie Inn. Sunday, Holly Zieman stopped in from Trinity Lutheran Church and gave the Holtes communion.
