Talk of the Town: November 13, 2023

On Sunday, son Loren Holte of Bismarck called Ken and Marvis Holte just to visit a bit. Holly Zieman stopped briefly one day bringing a treat of homemade apple butter.

Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, were around New Rockford Saturday shopping, and Shirley visited briefly with Marjorie Lies.

Sunday visitor at the Candy Jensen home was son Jerrod Holte.

Eloise Lucht enjoyed the company of son Alan Lucht of Germany and his son, John and Allissa, along with Roland of Minneapolis, from Friday to Monday. Sunday, sister Heidi came down from Devils Lake to visit all and Sunday supper guests at Eloise's were Kenny and LuAnn Thompson. A great get-together and good times for all.

Monday, Shirley Packard took the South Central Transit to Fargo where she was met by Linda Lies of Moorhead. Linda assisted Shirley in an appointment at the eye clinic where Shirley got satisfactory reports.

Marvis Holte received the sad news that her late sister Angie Birkholze Narveson's 54 year old son, Bruce Narveson of Stanton, N.D., had passed away.
