Thursday afternoon visitors at the Charlotte Koepplin home were Shirley Packard, Diana Rue and Pastor Thomas Eckstein of Concordia Lutheran Church of Jamestown. He is stand-in pastor for Grace Lutheran Church of Carrington while they are in the process of calling a new pastor since Pastor Richard Biberdorf retired at the end of October. Pastor Eckstein gave the gals communion and they enjoyed a get aquainted visit over coffee. Calvin Packard stopped in to pick up his mom Shirley and also had a short visit and coffee.
Recent phone callers and visitors at the Margie Anderson home with early Christmas greetings were Beverly Bjornson, Lori Erickson, Marvel and Rodney Ebenhan of Fargo and Mary Ellen Turcotte of Minnesota along with Doug Cudworth.
Circle Trail Riders met Monday evening at the Charlotte Koepplin home. There were nine present and decisions were made not to have a Christmas party and no meeting will be held in January. The club will meet the first Monday of February 2024 at Charlotte's and a family party will be planned.
Tuesday brief stopper at the Charlotte Koepplin home was Kathleen Lee.
Sunday visitors at the Margie Anderson home were David and Karen Anderson and Doug Cudworth. Doug also visited at the Glenn and Judy Cudworth home. Great-granddaughter Josslyn Hager helped gramma Margie with her Christmas letters one day.
Wednesday Charlotte Koepplin was surprised with a Champ's Chicken dinner brought by Karen Koepplin and Kenna Lewis. Kenna showed Charlotte her new wardrobe for a favorite doll she had shopped for with her aunt Angie Hopfauf.
