Last Friday, Patti Larson enjoyed DPRCA’s "The Christmas Show" at the Old Church Theatre in New Rockford.
The Open Season Lodge’s holiday vendor show was well attended by area residents who enjoyed lunch and shopping. Bake sale items benefited Bonnie Deegan for medical-related travel expenses.
Wednesday, Dec. 6, Jan Loe and Patti Clifton were in Grand Forks where they joined Jim and Marjean Woodrow and Pam Hill for the Memory Cafe Choir's Christmas Concert and lunch at Calvary Lutheran Church. Jim and Marjean are in the choir. Jan and Patti did a quick shopping stop before heading home to Sheyenne.
Last Wednesday evening, Patti Larson took in the Advent service at Calvary Lutheran in Oberon. First Lutheran Church in Sheyenne will host the last Advent this Christmas season with fellowship and lunch to follow the service.
Thursday afternoon, Patti Clifton and Jan Loe were in New Rockford. They had coffee at Rockford Cafe and did a little shopping.
The community of Sheyenne will once again host their free-will Christmas Day turkey dinner at the Ostby Hall.
The Eddy County VFW Auxiliary hosted a supper for area veterans last Thursday evening at the VFW Clubhouse in Sheyenne. About 25 were in attendance for the "turkey and all the trimmings" supper and visiting.
On Sunday, Dec. 10, Ian Gilley and Joanna Larson attended the Christmas market at The Royal Stables in Stockholm. Crafts and food from different regions of Sweden were featured throughout the stables and riding arena. Notably, The King's horses were on display for people to pet and take photos.
