Dec. 27, 2023

Last Wednesday, nephew Aaron Koepplin and Hendrix stopped briefly at the Charlotte Koepplin home after enjoying a visit, coffee and treats with Janelle Koepplin at the Rockford Café.

Last Saturday, Jimmy Indergaard was a visitor and supper guest at the Andy and Ruth Braaten home, where he enjoyed visiting with nieces Nikki and Noelle.

Margie Anderson was among hers and the late Joe Anderson family to enjoy an almost complete Christmas family gathering at daughter Patti and Peter Larson home in Sheyenne. An enjoyable time was had by all, especially having Andy from California, Joanna from Sweden and Sandra from college graduation.

Charlotte Koepplin and cousin Mark Anderson got caught up on family happenings as Mark stopped in with Christmas greetings and some homemade salsa Friday morning as he was in New Rockford on holiday errands.

Christmas Day found Charlotte Koepplin enjoying time and a delicious roast beef dinner with all the necessary trimmings at the Todd and Karen Koepplin home with Aaron and Danielle Koepplin and family, Janelle Koepplin and Finley and Allyssa Lewis. All who took part in a white elephant gift game got something nice to take home and Aaron won a nice prize being the winner of the oven mitt game. The guys and kids spent some time in the shop zipping around with bumper cars. All enjoyed the added treat of Alaska smoked salmon for supper.

Tuesday, Charlotte Koepplin enjoyed a holiday greetings phone call from cousin Billy Terry from his home in Colorado. And Wednesday, a cheery phone call with Happy New Year greetings came from cousin Bob Longnecker from his home in Minnesota, from Sheryl and Rush dog too.

Happy New Year, Pleasant Prairie!
