Christmas Eve, Shirley Packard got a phone call and later the delivery of her favorite homemade oyster stew by Kevin Johnson. Christmas, also, another phone call from Kevin asking would Shirley and Calvin like chicken, turkey or ham dinner with all the trimmings? They told him their desires and enjoyed another delivered meal from Sandy Lies, Kim and Kevin Johnson.

Shirley Packard got Christmas Day phone calls from daughters Cheryl and Dave Gabbert and Cindy Toben and son Craig Packard all from their homes in Minnesota.

Ken and Marvis Holte received Christmas phone calls from James Birkholz of Minot, Fayette Nelson of Devils Lake, Ardie and Bob Yates of Arkansas and Penny Sorrells of Minnesota. They called son Loren in Bismarck with greetings of the day. Christmas Day, daughter Amanda and Cody Bickett were greeters at the Holte home. Amanda prepared a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Christmas Eve with Frederick and Dianne Allmaras was enjoyed by Todd and Karen Koepplin, Janelle Koepplin, Taylor and Amanda Koepplin and girls, Brian and Angie Hopfauf, Allyssa Lewis and Allmaras families.

Eloise Lucht made it to Devils Lake Christmas Eve and enjoyed supper at the Jay and Heidi Schneider home, was an overnight guest and enjoyed Christmas Day with all. Her stay was extended due to the icy road conditions.

Taylor and Amanda Koepplin, Evelyn and Tessa enjoyed spending Christmas Day with grandpa Tim and grandma Bobbi Jo Indergaard along with other family at the Dennis and Fran Walen home.

Mary Gehrtz was a Friday helper at the Shirley Packard home. Calvin stops in everyday to help mom with a few errands.

Jerrod Holte called Ken and Marvis Holte with holiday greetings on Christmas Day. Saturday, Ken and Marvis enjoyed coffee and visiting with Lester Ellingson and Alan Lang at the Chieftain.

Friday, Todd and Karen Koepplin had a special family Christmas with Taylor and Amanda Koepplin, Evelyn and Tessa, Allyssa Lewis, Grady and Kenna. All enjoyed a yummy supper and fun was had in grandpa's shop with some new Christmas fun toys, plus Christmas presents.

Derik and Val Holte of Minneapolis called mom, Candy Jensen, and wished her a Happy New Year.

Cindy Toben of Minnesota called mom, Shirley Packard, Saturday and wished her a Happy New Year.
