The local arts scene is lit for 2024.
Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts (DPRCA) is gearing up for its 33rd season. With five shows and over 60 nights of entertainment on the schedule, this year is going to be bigger than ever! That means there will be even more opportunities to experience live theatre right here in New Rockford, N.D.
What started as a summer community theatre event in 1992 has grown into a year-round theatre and cultural event center that provides dozens of jobs, hosts community events, a restaurant, youth art classes, youth theatre classes and more, and also brings thousands of people to New Rockford each year.
If you like what you've seen from DPRCA in the past, there's no time like the present to become a sponsor or renew your support.
There are several levels of sponsorship to choose from, and all sponsor dollars help DPRCA fulfill its mission to inspire, educate and entertain audiences, staff and community.
In return for their support, individual sponsors receive the gift of entertainment ... with show tickets and recognition on the sponsor wall at the Old Church Theatre.
Sponsorship starts at just $75 per year for individuals or $250 per year for businesses. For more details, go online to https://www.dprca.com/sponsorship/. From there, print a form that can be filled out and mailed to DPRCA with payment for the chosen sponsorship level.
DPRCA is also looking for businesses interested in show sponsorship. Perks include presence on all DPRCA materials for the show sponsored, advertising in all the 2024 show programs, recognition on the donor wall and Bistro screen and show tickets. The thousands of patrons who attend the shows will know that your business is a proud supporter of the arts.
New business sponsors are encouraged to text "I want to advertise" to Deb at 701-302-0554.
Sponsorships not only keep lights on the stage, jobs in the community and youth in the arts but also keep arts and community alive in rural North Dakota.
All sponsorships can be classified as tax-deductible gifts or reported as advertising expenses for businesses.
Now is the time to make a difference. The season begins in just 30 days, when DPRCA presents "Guys on Ice" with eight performances from Feb. 15-25. As additional shows are announced for the 2024 season, stay up to date at dprca.com, on the Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts Facebook page and right here in your local newspaper.
