New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of David Thompson, who unexpectedly passed away at his home in Colorado recently.
Wednesday found Holly Zieman visiting at the Ken and Marvis Holte home bringing sugar cookies. Evening found Ken among veterans enjoying a gathering at the Chieftain.
Sunday, Calvin Packard braved the cold and got mom Shirley her Sunday morning omelette from the Rockford Café and some good milk from Miller's Fresh Foods.
Candy Jensen was happy to hear from son Derik Holte of Minneapolis recently that he will be making a trip to New Rockford sometime in February.
Eloise Lucht got a recent phone call from son Alan from his home in Germany. Daughter Johanna is back in the states after several weeks in Germany and traveling with dad and mom. Eloise also heard from son Scott from Rochester, Minn. He has been busy remodeling a bathroom in his home.
Ken and Marvis Holte have heard from family. Son James Birkholz of Minot, daughter Amanda Bickett of Carrington and daughter Fayette Nelson of Devils Lake were all checking to make sure mom and dad are faring well in the frigid weather.
