David and Karen Anderson drove to Devils Lake Sunday evening where they visited with Mitch and Amber Sylling and boys.

Eloise Lucht had some good news after an appointment with her eye doctor in Minot on Tuesday.

Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, drove to Devils Lake on business and pleasure Friday. They enjoyed Chinese dinner, did some shopping and enjoyed supper at The View at Spirit Lake Casino.

Ash Wednesday visitor bearing a treat of peppernise cookies at the Ken and Marvis Holte home was Alice Norton. Amanda Bickett stopped in for a visit.

Gary and Kathy Anderson and Ryan and Laura Hager and family drove to Larimore Saturday where they were among those who took 88th birthday greetings to grandma Helen.

Brothers Frederick and Alfons (Beetsy) Allmaras celebrated their birthdays Saturday evening at the Eagles with some 60 family members plus friends bringing greetings for the occasion. Frederick turned 85, and Alfons 80. All enjoyed reminiscing and a special German chocolate cake with a red tractor and a yellow loader made and decorated by LaVonne Myhre.

James Birkholz of Minot called and chatted with mom Marvis Holte recently. He is doing fine.
