A National Honor Society blood drive was held at First Lutheran Church in New Rockford last Tuesday. Patti Larson was one of the donors.
Tanner Erickson and family of Stillwater, Minn., were home at the Lynn and Charlotte Erickson farm last week for a few days of spring break. Lynn and Charlotte invited Peter, Patti and Joanna over for burgers at noon on Wednesday to visit and see the kids, Winston and Edith.
Brenda Bachmeier of Pink Pistil Flower Boutique in New Rockford hosted a floral centerpiece class at the Open Season Lodge in Sheyenne last Wednesday. The fun evening ended with a buffet of hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Everyone attending went home with a beautiful DIY fresh flower Easter centerpiece last Wednesday evening.
Bobby Scott turned 74 on Thursday, March 28. Patti Larson brought him a treat from Bakers Dozen for his birthday. He lives at 17 Grace Lane, Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd.
Patti Larson hauled the Sheyenne Senior Center geranium pots out to Stan Kruger's greenhouse to get a jump start on spring.
Sandra Larson and friend Jasper Zarkower of Minneapolis and St. Paul drove to Sheyenne for the Easter weekend with the Peter Larson family.
Saturday, the Peter Larson family hosted an Easter egg hunt for their nieces and nephews. Ryan, Laura, Josslyn, Jakoby, Damian, Owen and Jameson Hager; Amber, Weston and Boden Sylling; Gary and Kathy Anderson; David and Karen Anderson joined Peter, Patti, Joanna and Sandra Larson; John, Michelle, Ian and Cameron Gilley; and Jasper Zarkower at the farm. Following the egg hunt and egg race, the kids enjoyed feeding the animals. They also witnessed an assisted calf birth. Fun day!
Grace Lutheran Church hosted Easter sunrise service and breakfast on Sunday. It was also First Communion. The Sunday School provided special music.
John, Michelle, Cameron and Ian Gilley joined the Larson family for a charcuterie board lunch on Easter Sunday before Cameron drove back to Bismarck.
Jan Loe helped daughter Steph celebrate her birthday on Sunday afternoon with a road trip through Warwick, a stop at the Devils Lake DQ for an ice cream cone and a drive through White Horse Hill where they saw the elk.
Patti Clifton enjoyed a Facetime visit with grandson Rowan, Sun Prairie, Wisc., Easter Sunday afternoon. Rowan showed Grandma what was in his Easter basket. Patti also visited with Rowan's parents, Rance and Jena.
John, Andrea and Chase Larson stopped at the Peter and Patti Larson home on their way from Devils Lake back to Fargo Easter Sunday afternoon.
