Inez Pendergrast

Inez Pendergrast, 90, formerly of New Rockford, N.D., passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Covenant Village of Colorado, Westminster, Colo.
No services will be held at this time. Her burial will be at the Grandfield Lutheran Cemetery, Sheyenne, N.D.
Inez was born on Aug. 19, 1933 to Hans and Inga (Gunvalson) Skaar in Munster Township, New Rockford, N.D. She graduated from New Rockford High School in 1951 and from Trinity Hospital School of Nursing in 1954 in Minot, N.D. She married Myron Pendergrast on January 9, 1971 in West Fargo, N.D. Inez was a member of the Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of Norway, and was a former member of the Pioneer Daughters and the Red Hats. She had many hobbies.
Inez is survived by her four stepchildren, Mike (Suzy) Pendergrast, Wasilla, Alaska, Steve (Willa) Pendergrast, Boulder, Colo., John (Diane) Pendergrast, Anchorage, Alaska and Leslie Thomas, Palmer, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Ronningen, Cooperstown, N.D.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brother, Tollef Skaar; and two sisters, Irene Skaar (Rodney Wayne) Austin and Ina Skaar Ronningen.
Memorials may be given to the Grandfield Lutheran Cemetery, Sheyenne, N.D.
