On May 16, Grady Lewis celebrated his fourth birthday between rain showers at the New Rockford city park with family and friends. All enjoyed fun stuff with a Spiderman party.

Last Wednesday, Ione Price called Shirley Packard to inform her of a celebration of life for Perry Price in Belgrade, Mont. soon. Shirley also received a phone call from nephew Billy Womacks of Virginia Beach that his father Bill Womacks is in rehab following a bad fall and is doing okay.
Marvis Holte received a belated Mother's Day call from son James from his home in Minot. Sons Loren and Jerrod Holte called dad, Ken, and wished him a happy birthday. The Holtes called daughter Fayette Nelson of Devils Lake and wished her a happy 53rd birthday on May 19.
Last Sunday, Gloria and Christy, daughters of the late Billy (Earl) and Delorise Lucht of Bagley, Minn. visited Aunt Marlys in Harvey and then pleasantly surprised aunt Eloise Lucht in New Rockford, where they had a visit over coffee and banana blueberry bread. Mike Thompson of Red Willow also stopped in one afternoon for a visit.
Last Sunday, sons Derik and Jerrod Holte called checking in on mom, Candy Jensen.
Last Tuesday, Shirley Packard got good reports following a visit to the eye clinic in Fargo.
Last Sunday, Calvin Packard treated mom, Shirley, to dinner at the Rockford Café and later they placed flowers on loved ones' graves at Prairie Home Cemetery. While at the café, they had a visit with Caroline Duda, who was in the area for Memorial Day and also visited her sister Lois and Leonard Jacobson at the Lutheran Home.
Candy Jensen learned recently that her cousin Doryce Oynes Kraus, 93, of Bismarck had passed away.
Tuesday, Cody and Amanda Bickett treated Ken and Marvis Holte to supper at Prairie Inn. Sunday, the Bicketts and Izzy were visitors at the Holtes.
Saturday morning, Ken and Marvis Holte, Lester and Val Ellingson, Alan Lange and Veronica Davis enjoyed a visit over coffee and treats at the Chieftain.
Tuesday visitor at the Shirley Packard home was Ruby Simms.
Eloise Lucht was among family and friends to attend the high school graduation of granddaughter Callie Schneider in Devils Lake on Sunday.
