Hanson's annual Poker Run this weekend

Get your fancy rods and hogs waxed and ready, the annual Hanson’s Bar Poker Run is returning this weekend!

Taking place on Saturday, June 29, the poker run is an opportunity to show off your nice car or motorcycle, or to simply have a good time and take in some of the beautiful classic vehicles owned by local residents.

All street legal vehicles are welcome, and registration starts at 11 a.m. at Hanson’s Bar in downtown New Rockford. Registration will cost $25 per person.

Those participating will depart Hanson’s at noon for the poker run, and won’t return until around 5-5:30 that evening.

Participants will travel to several nearby towns and their respective bars, picking up poker cards along the way.

Upon their return, a delicious supper will be provided, and plenty of door prizes will be awarded, including a variety of car detailing goodies.

As per usual, a people's choice winner for the best vehicle will also be selected at 6 p.m.

Be sure to head on down to Hanson’s this Saturday for a fun afternoon and evening, or even just to check out some of the classic cars that are sure to be lining Central Avenue in downtown New Rockford.
