Local rancher finishes on top at Sheyenne NDRA Rodeo

Hundreds once again turned out for this year's Sheyenne Stampede NDRA Rodeo at Hendrickson Park in Sheyenne on Sunday, June 30.
It was a perfect day for rodeo action, and those who attended got to watch several locals compete against professional NDRA cowboys and cowgirls for cash prizes in several events.
Jordan Staton, a rancher from the Grace City area, was the big winner locally, as he took first place in the Tie Down Roping event with a time of 10.8 seconds.
