Dennis Lange

Dennis Lange, age 74, of Carrington, N.D., died on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carrington, with Pastor Ritchie Cole officiating. Music will be "How Great Thou Art" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Honorary pallbearers will be David Lutman, Lyle Lutman, John Hollingsworth, Dustin Garber, Nate Davis and Mike Larson.

Dennis Edward Lange was born in Carrington on October 27, 1949, to Edward and Lydia (Hoffman) Lange. He attended Carrington School and graduated from Carrington High in 1967.

He enjoyed many occupations throughout his life including a shipping clerk, parts runner, road construction, house moving and working at Bessette Motors.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. Dennis always looked forward to the holidays and family get-togethers. He was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Carrington.

He is survived by his children, Penny of Mandan, N.D., Kerwin of Bismarck, N.D., and Chris of Nortonville, N.D.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Sharbono, Carrington, N.D., Rose Rockway, Devils Lake, N.D., Linda Lange, Davenport, Iowa, and Diana Gillain, Dilworth, Minn.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lydia; brothers, Larry and Steve; sister, Darlene and son, Michael.
