Jeff and Denise Labrensz spent the weekend with her sister Debbie and husband Kent near Leonard, N.D. On Saturday, the four of them enjoyed a family reunion in the Foxhome, Minn. rural area with relatives from California, North Dakota and Minnesota. On their way back to Leonard, they stopped in Wahpeton to view some of the Borderline Chalkfest that was taking place on Saturday and Sunday. It was later in the afternoon, and some of the artists were covering their work with plastic to avoid any rain spoiling it so they could finish their work the next day. It was so impressive to see how dimensional the designs appeared but were flat. We noticed artists from Colorado, Pennsylvania and Florida, along with some from Minnesota. There was even a section for the younger kids to show off their talents which was quite impressive also.
