Sheyenne's annual Sidewalk Market and City Wide Rummage sales are taking place on Saturday, August 10, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Celebrating the 15th year of their Farmers Market on Main, the community of Sheyenne will have over a dozen rummage sales in town, including several multi-party sales, spread along Main Street and across town.
Anyone stopping by will enjoy the new handicap accessible sidewalks in town as they meander from sale to sale. And of course there will also be a flea market and farmers market for anyone to enjoy.
Folks will also be able to stop at Ostby Hall for Darlene's homemade caramel rolls in the morning, or for lunch when they'll be serving BBQs, nachos, shipwrecks, homemade bars and more. And just outside there will be several tables with free items for anyone to take home.
There will also be free items out on curbs throughout town, and anyone is encouraged to take something home at no cost. After all, "one man's trash is another man's treasure," as they say.
Be sure to bring the whole family along as well. There will be kids games with prizes at the former school playground, and the Acheson Homestead Farm is bringing several of their animals into town.
With everything going on, Sheyenne is the place to be on Saturday, Aug. 10, so be sure to stop by and enjoy everything on offer from local residents!
