Saturday visitors at the Margie Anderson home were Kent and Shelly Rigsby of Jamestown. All drove to the Peter and Patti Larson home and enjoyed a visit over coffee. Laura Hager was also a visitor.

Saturday, the Frederick and Dianne Allmaras home was the scene of an 80th birthday celebration for Dianne. Family and friends enjoyed a special cake and a humerous t-shirt was donned by family. Highlight of the party was a sing-a-long around the piano while Dianne played many good tunes.

Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed a fall turkey supper delivered by Trinity Lutheran Church Sunday. Daughter Amanda Bickett joined them in the feast.

Calvin Packard, Tim Hartl, Bruce Gedrose, Todd Duchscherer, Nancy Ritzke and Kevin Johnson were instrumental in helping Paula Loewen and other staff at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd organize and present a Halloween Maze in the Vance Anderson Hall at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd. Residents, staff and families were able to enjoy this Halloween treat Friday and Saturday. BOO!

Monday stoppers at the Charlotte Koepplin home were Allyssa Lewis and Grady, with some pictures to share. Karen Koepplin brought some homemade cookies to share, Ruby Simms stopped in with news and the gals enjoyed a short visit.

Granddaughter Joanna Larson stopped in at the Margie Anderson home Sunday with some fresh fall flowers.

Sunday afternoon visitors at the Charlotte Koepplin home bringing ice cream treats were Janelle Koepplin and Finley.

Friday, Ken and Marvis Holte were in New Rockford, where they enjoyed coffee and a treat at the bakery and a chat with Marilyn Gedrose.

Glenn Cudworth is home and doing fine following a recent surgery.

Wednesday, Ken and Marvis Holte were in Jamestown where Marvis had a medical appointment. Sunday, Marvis' sister Penny Sorrells of Minneapolis called for a family catch-up.

Circle Trail Riders met for their October meeting at the Charlotte Koepplin home. President Cory Jorgensen brought the meeting to order with nine present. With trail ride season over for another year, it was an evening of reminiscing.

Ruby Simms traveled to Turtle Lake, N.D. on Saturday, Oct. 12. She visited Roger and Becky Watson, who are her brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Ruby's son, Travis Watson of Bismarck, N.D., was there to help his uncle with some errands. They all drove downtown Turtle Lake and ate lunch at the recently opened café located inside the Lawrence Stephenson American Legion Post on Second Avenue.

Ruby said many farmers were in the fields harvesting corn and soybean crops. Drivers need to use more caution and patience this time of year.
