NR-S Elementary Christmas Program
The kindergarten and first graders put on red noses and antlers to perform the classic tune "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" with the rest of their elementary peers.
Youth in grades 4 and 5 opened their set with the a fun pop tune titled "Snowboardin' Santa."
Kindergarten and first grade students were the stars of the show during "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," one of six songs the entire elementary performed.
The second and third graders got animated with "Rocks for Christmas," sung to the tune of "Nuttin' for Christmas."
The fourth and fifth graders ended their set with "There Is Hope in the Air This Christmas," which they performed in both song and American Sign Language.
The NR-S school gymnasium was abuzz Tuesday night, as elementary students showed up in their holiday best and belted out 16 Christmas tunes at the NR-S Elementary Christmas Program. Laurel Westby directed the 50-minute program featuring students in grades K-5.
