Todd and Karen Koepplin picked up Janelle Koepplin and Charlotte Koepplin Thanksgiving morning and they were on their way to Bordulac, where they met Aaron and Danielle Koepplin and family. All enjoyed a superb buffet dinner at the Bar and Grill there plus visiting family and friends. The drive home took them across country, past the Koepplin farmstead and the Pleasant Prairie neighborhood. Charlotte went home after an enjoyable time, others stopped in at the Frederick and Dianne Allmaras home with greetings of the day.
Jimmy Indergaard was a Saturday visitor and supper guest at the Andy and Ruth Braaten home.
On Thanksgiving, Calvin Packard brought the fixings and prepared dinner for mom Shirley, and they enjoyed the tasty meal.
Margie Anderson, Doug Cudworth and David and Karen Anderson were Thanksgiving guests at the Glenn and Judy Cudworth home.
Son, Loren Holte, was a guest over Thanksgiving at the Ken and Marvis Holte home. The Holtes enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner from Calvary Baptist Church in Carrington. Daughter Amanda Bickett enjoyed an afternoon visit with her brother Loren at the Holtes'. Loren returned to his home in Bismarck Monday.
Joanna Larson and Ian Gilley were visitors one afternoon at the Margie Anderson home.
Patti Larson and daughters Joanna and Sandra and fellas were visitors at Margie's one day.
Scott and Kim Lucht of Rochester arrived at mom's, Eloise Lucht's, Wednesday. They all drove to Devils Lake where they were supper and overnight guests at the Jay and Heidi Schneider home. Thanksgiving found them all guests at the Britcher and Becka Urban and Larimie home. They enjoyed visiting and eating with all, plus Dan and Marlene Salisbury and Riley and Dawn Stoe. It was back to New Rockford for Scott, Kim and Eloise after an enjoyable day. Friday Scott prepared a beef roast for supper at mom's. And Saturday it was on the road for a safe trip back home for Scott and Kim, after doing a few errands for mom.
Gary and Kathy Anderson enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Ryan and Laura Hager home.
Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed Saturday coffee time with Lester Ellingson and Alan Lange at the Chieftain in Carrington.
Charlotte Koepplin enjoyed an early Thanksgiving greeting from Bob and Sheryl Longnecker and Rush dog on Monday.
Shirley Packard treated son Calvin to breakfast Sunday at Rockford Cafe where they also enjoyed a visit with Ruby Simms.
Friday, Kenna, Grady, Evelyn, Tessa and Ewen were among the grand- and great-grands and their mommas to enjoy a gingerbread making extravaganza at the Frederick and Dianne Allmaras home.
Son Derik and Val Holte called mom, Candy Jensen, and wished her a Happy Thanksgiving from their home in Minnesota.
Diana Rue, Ed Brecto and Cheryl Janzen were guests at the Charlotte Koepplin home Tuesday. Pastor Thomas Eckstein gave all communion and soon was on his way to the Shirley Packard home to do the same. Others enjoyed a visit over brownies and hot chocolate.
Monday Todd Koepplin stopped briefly at Aunt Charlotte Koepplin's and cleaned snow away. Condolences to the family of Dave Short.
