There is officially snow on the ground … wait, now its melting … oh, just kidding, its back!
Winter is finally in full swing, and we are working on getting the ice rink up and running but it has been a little tough with the fluctuating weather. Hopefully we will be able to open soon, so be on the lookout on Facebook to see when we are up and running.
Speaking of the ice rink, this winter we want to try something a little bit different – I call it “Midnight Skate.” There will only be two nights of midnight skating – on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, so bring the whole family down to celebrate Christmas or ring in the new year! Midnight skating will run from 8-10 p.m., so our open hours will look a little different on those days. There will also be hot chocolate for sale for $1 during midnight skate to help warm you up in the warming house.
A few other exciting things going on this winter include our calendar cash raffle and the Daddy Daughter Dance this spring! We just started selling tickets for the raffle, so make sure to get yourself a ticket or two! We are giving away $5,000 in cash prizes. We will do drawings DAILY at 10 a.m. on January 20-24 and January 27-31 on Facebook, so make sure to pop in to see if you win.
The Daddy Daughter Dance is a work in progress, but the date is set for February 22, 2025, so make sure to keep that day free!
