Kramlichs wrestle for Cards

At the Velva Invitational on Friday-Saturday, Dec. 6-7, Skye Kramlich helped the Carrington Cardinals to an 8th place finish overall with a 3rd place finish of his own at 114.

Skye began his tournament with two byes and then pinned his first opponent, Austin Davis of Velva. He lost to his next opponent by decision, but then won by decision over his final two opponents, Gabe Sarsland of Bowman and Keenan Gores of Northern Lights.

Skye and his brother, Ridge, also competed in several recent duals for the Cards.

Against Rugby on Thursday, Dec. 5, Ridge pinned his opponent Branden Brossart at 107. In the match vs. Northwood, Skye won by technical fall over his opponent, Bodey Love, at 114. The brothers both won against Grafton via forfeit on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
