Hefty Seed contributes $50K to Rockford Theatre rebuild

One of New Rockford's newest businesses just became one of the movie theatre's biggest supporters.

Hefty Seed in New Rockford, managed by Chad Weckerly of Hurdsfield, recently pledged $50,000 to the Rockford Theatre rebuild.

Weckerly said the funds will be disbursed over five years, with $10,000 contributed each year.

Weckerly made the pledge to Amanda Hegland, Executive Director of the New Rockford Area Betterment Corporation, in late January.
