Knights of Columbus #2477 hosted its annual free throw contest at the New Rockford-Sheyenne gymnasium on Sunday, Jan. 26.
Eight free throw shooters will move on to the district shoot off in Devils Lake at Sweetwater Elementary Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. The champions of each division are as follows: Hadley Hultgren, age 9 girls; Gavin Rieger, age 9 boys; Leah Steele, age 10 girls; Jack Skogen, age 11 boys; Kalleigh Engels, age 11 girls; Bryce Yri, age 12 boys; Liza Steele, age 12 girls and Evan Hultgren, age 14 boys. Kalleigh Engels and Leah Steele are defending state champions in their age divisions and moving on again!
